About us
About
Funding and credentials for hands-on careers.
Who we are
Apprenso was started by an editor whose cousin spent a year in the wrong program because nobody explained that a certificate was not a license.
The primers are written for people weighing a trade, a technical course or an apprenticeship, and for the families helping them.
Things we will never do
We stay out of the money and admissions side: no grants, no applications, no referrals, and no handing your information to people who want to sell you something.
Apprenso is published by The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an educational website only. We are not a school, training provider, union, employer, lender or government agency.
Writing and review
Every guide is written by the Apprenso editorial team at The Nelson M Group LLC from general, widely shared guidance, such as material published by the U.S. Department of Education, state higher-education agencies and college financial aid offices. Each guide shows the month it was last reviewed, and we revisit them at least once a year.
